Most people today look for reliable daycare; someone to open their doors an hour before they go to work and stay open an hour after they leave work. But what about what happens at the daycare...... I understand that finding daycare in this economy is hard enough, but finding someone that fits the qualities you are looking for, is even harder.
If parents write down all they are looking for and not settle for less, they may not have many options, and the ones that do fit these qualities may be a far away trip from home. If that is the case, wouldn't it be worth traveling to ensure that your child will get the best care possible. Not only will your child be safe, but will enjoy the benefits of a great daycare.
Some qualities that stand out in a great daycare to me is providing services such as dance class, music class, arts, sports, educational programs etc. Exposing children to various subjects, well balanced meals, caring staff, teaching morals and manners. Although these qualities are whats important to me, other parents should know whats important to them and ensure that the daycare they choose provides the qualities they are looking for too and not just settle for whats available and convenient.
